Allen Dale Salzmann was born August 9, 1956 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Julius and Marian Salzman.

Allen deeply loved his wife, Carol, of 36 years.

Allen and Carol were unified in marriage on June 7, 1980 and were blessed with three children, who are described as his greatest pride and joy. As an outdoor enthusiast, Allen loved to hunt, travel, hike, scuba dive, and had a deep passion for flying airplanes, soloing at age 16. Allen Dale Salzmann was born August 9, 1956 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Julius and Marian Salzman.

Allen deeply loved his wife, Carol, of 36 years.

Allen and Carol were unified in marriage on June 7, 1980 and were blessed with three children, who are described as his greatest pride and joy. As an outdoor enthusiast, Allen loved to hunt, travel, hike, scuba dive, and had a deep passion for flying airplanes, soloing at age 16. Allen graduated from the University of Nebraska with a degree in geology and a minor in business. At UNL, he served on an advisory committee in the geology department. He developed skills as an IT Enterprise Architect and founded Salzmann Management Consulting in 1989.

Throughout his professional career, Allen worked with the Department of Defense, NASA, Bureau of Land Management, Boeing, and many others. He was honored to serve his country in the Civil Air Patrol as a mountain search and rescue pilot, logging over 400 hours.

Survived by his wife Carol, children Anna (Michael) Haarstad, Adam (Brianne) Salzmann, Brita Salzmann, granddaughters Heidi and Hazel Haarstad, brother Ron Salzman, extended family, and countless friends. Proceeded in death by parents Julius and Marian Salzman, step father Mervin Carmen, and beloved aunts and uncles. A passionate and generous man who will be deeply missed. Biß bald.
